Fossil Falls, a World Beyond

During the last ice age volcanic activity causing basalt flows met with melt water from glaciers of southern Sierra Nevada Mountains (in the background) causing these amazing and out of this world formations of cooled lava. It is located off of Rt. 395 in central California.
